Dianne Cassidy
Dianne has over 30 years’ claims experience specializing across all lines including automobile bodily injury and property damage, residential and farm properties, non-auto injury, litigation, and subrogation. She has worked in increasingly progressive management roles for government and private insurers as well as farm mutuals, managing field staff and technical resources. Her responsibilities include all aspects of the claim’s operation including file investigation and documentation, guideline development, reserving accuracy, and settlement authority.
Dianne earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and holds her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designations. She is committed to strong service levels, internal training & development, and understands the benefits and drawbacks of in-house and outsourced models. Past projects involve creation of specialized claims units and team leads, restructuring workflow, introducing task-based models, transitioning between systems, and improving investigation timeliness.
Dianne’s most recent work is in a claims and underwriting audit role including compliance and workflow management.
